VIENNA, March 13 (UPI) -- The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe said Friday it would host a workshop designed to bring together experts to discuss cybersecurity.
The OSCE announced its Forum for Security Cooperation group would host the cybersecurity workshop Monday and Tuesday in Vienna. Officials said the FSC workshop is part of an effort to address the growing danger of cyberterrorism and other security threats stemming from the Internet, the OSCE reported.
The FSC, which meets weekly to discuss OSCE military and security issues, said the workshop is designed to bring together security authorities to collaborate on the development of a "comprehensive approach to enhancing cybersecurity in the OSCE area," according to a news release.
The workshop will feature a keynote speech from Estonian Defense Minister Jaak Aaviksoo.
