Supreme Court rules for marriage equality: Sprinting intern edition

Because the Supreme Court doesn't allow reporters to use video cameras, or even cell phones or laptops, inside the courtroom, the race to get the news for big decisions out first often literally becomes a footrace.

Reporters -- or more often, lowly interns -- grab the paper copies of the rulings and sprint across the plaza in front of the Supreme Court building to deliver the news to the on-air talent.
