Colo. counselor accused of sex abuse

FORT COLLINS, Colo., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- A high school counselor in Fort Collins, Colo., was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting more than four children during a 13-year-period, authorities say.

Police said Bradley Harlan Boda, an academic counselor at Rocky Mountain High School, is accused of sexually assaulting the children while working at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Longmont, Colo., between 1991 and 2004, The Denver Post reported Thursday.

Police said the sexual assaults allegedly took place while Boda was working as a youth counselor with the church and an X-ray technician at a second unspecified location.

Boda, 39, likely assaulted other victims during this time period, investigators allege. Specifics regarding the alleged victims' ages and gender were not reported.

Rocky Mountain High School officials are cooperating with the police investigation into Boda, but a district spokeswoman confirmed no students at the Fort Collins school have reported being victimized.

Police told the Post Boda was arrested Wednesday on various charges, including sexual assault of a child, indecent exposure, unlawful sexual contact and sexual exploitation of children.
