CLARKSVILLE, Tenn., June 9 (UPI) -- A young Tennessee woman plotted with her 17-year-old brother and a 15-year-old accomplice to kill her father, investigators say.
Alexander Hart and the younger teen, whose identity was not released, appeared in juvenile court Monday, The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle reported. Rebecca Hart, 18, was to appear in court Thursday.
A lawyer for the 15-year-old said Tuesday that the teens would have a psychiatric evaluation, which would delay a prosecution move to charge them as adults.
Investigators say the three planned the killing together. Rebecca Hart allegedly drove to her father's house with her brother and the younger boy and talked to Gilbert Hart.
Alexander and the other teenager allegedly killed Gilbert Hart while his sister waited for them outside the house.
Gilbert Hart, 50, was buried Monday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West.
