MEMPHIS, April 22 (UPI) -- An assistant principal at a Tennessee high school faces criminal charges for allegedly downloading a sex video from a student's cell phone.

Terence Bobo, who works at Melrose High School in Memphis, is also charged with failing to notify police of the video, The (Memphis) Commercial Appeal reported Monday. The charges include sexual exploitation of a minor, tampering with evidence and failure to properly report the incident.

The phone was confiscated from Deandra Woodall, an 18-year-old student who allegedly used it to film two students having sex. He showed the video to other students.

Woodall, charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, remained behind bars Tuesday. Bobo was free on bail.
