Teen arrested in U.K. terror investigation

BLACKBURN, England, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- British police announced Tuesday they had arrested a Blackburn-area teenager in an anti-terrorism investigation.

The identity of the 19-year-old suspect and the details of the charges were not immediately released although officials confirmed a residence above a Blackburn shop was searched.

"We will endeavor to carry out any searches as quickly as possible to minimize impact on the area concerned," Chief Superintendent Andy Rhodes said. "However, inquiries of this nature are complex and may take time to resolve."

The Daily Telegraph said the suspect was the fourth teen to be picked up by terrorism investigators in Lancashire in recent days.
