WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Barrack Obama's U.S. presidential campaign took aim at Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in a television ad released Wednesday.

The spot was the first TV broadside launched by the Democratic front-runner at Palin and focuses on a statement by John McCain that he may rely heavily on his vice president when it comes to economic matters.

The Hill said the tagline identifies the Alaska governor as "his choice" and then tells votes, "On Nov. 4, you get to make yours."

The McCain camp wasn't to be outdone Wednesday and debuted a commercial that reiterates the position that the junior U.S. senator from Illinois lacks the experience to be president.

"His response to our economic crisis is to spend and tax our economy deeper into recession," the commercial voice-over intoned. "The fact is Barack Obama's not ready yet."
