ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Recently released documents show the mother of a Florida toddler was busy leading an active social life while her young daughter was missing.
Casey Anthony went to parties, had her nails done and even got a tattoo on her shoulder at the same time she told friends daughter Caylee was with a nanny, WKMG-TV, Orlando, reported Wednesday.
Prosecutors working on the case against Casey Anthony have released nearly 600 pages of documents as part of the discovery process requiring they hand over all the evidence that may be used at trial.
Included among the documents were interviews with Casey Anthony's friend, Amy Huizenga, and her boyfriend Tony Lazarro.
Huizenga told investigators Casey's behavior changed in mid-June about the time that Caylee was last seen.
"I know she has started smoking more pot than she ever had," Huizenga said.
Anthony's boyfriend said she would wake up sweating from nightmares, says WKMG-TV.
