WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- The U.S. Congress will begin work on a measure to provide federal aid to victims Hurricane Ike, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Monday.

The California Democrat said a disaster relief package would address housing needs, cleanup and infrastructure restoration, The Hill reported. Also included would be money for other recent disasters, such as California wildfires, Midwest flooding and Hurricane Gustav.
