Chloroform traces reported in Caylee probe

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Traces of chloroform reportedly have been found in the car of the mother of a missing 2-year-old Florida girl, a source says.

Police are said also to be checking a computer belonging to the girl's mother, Casey Anthony, 22, which allegedly contained a search for information on chloroform, WKMG-TV in Orlando said.

The search goes on in Central Florida for little Caylee Anthony, who has been missing since June 9.

Authorities said they would check into reported sightings of the girl in the Dallas area.

The mother has been named as a person of interest in the case by authorities. Casey Anthony was charged in July with child neglect and filing a false statement in connection to her missing daughter. She remained jailed on unrelated theft charges.
