BOSTON, July 30 (UPI) -- A spokesman for U.S. Sen. John Kerry is demanding a gossip news Web site remove what he calls erroneous captions from pictures of the Massachusetts Democrat.

The Web site TMZ.com posted pictures of Kerry posing with a group of inebriated young women with the caption: "Electoral College Girls Gone Wild." The entertainment news Web site claimed the photos were taken at a Nantucket, Mass., house party last weekend, The Boston Globe reported Wednesday.

Kerry spokesman David Wade, however, contends that is incorrect, telling the Globe, "The caption is completely erroneous and insulting and it should be immediately corrected."

Wade told the newspaper Kerry and two friends had been dining at a Nantucket restaurant and were walking down the dock when a group of women on a boat recognized him and asked if they could take a photo.

"The group came off the boat and onto the dock, took a photo with Senator Kerry and his friends, and then Senator Kerry and his two friends immediately walked away. End of story," Wade said.
