BOSTON, July 14 (UPI) -- A Saudi prince who was jailed in Massachusetts for killing a man while driving drunk, could serve more time for allegedly breaking the rules of his probation.
Bader Al Saud, 26, was issued an order to attend Suffolk Superior Court Friday on suspicion he violated his probation, court documents said.
Records indicate officials do not know where the prince is, WCVB-TV, Boston reported Sunday.
Al Saud entered a guilty plea in 2005 to a charge of misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide for hitting Orlando Ramos, 37, while driving drunk.
Relatives of Ramos say they think the royal was given too soft a punishment.
"These latest allegations amplify their belief that the criminal justice system has failed them," family attorney Richard A. Eustis said.
The Martha's Vineyard jail where Al Saud spent a year, was converted from a home and prisoners reside in dormitory-like living quarters, WCVB said.
Al Saud's lawyer said his client has been in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, since he left jail.
