HOPKINTON, Mass., June 5 (UPI) -- The lawyer for a Massachusetts man accused of killing his family said his client cannot get a fair trial after potential jurors said he should "fry."

Neil Entwistle, 29, of Hopkinton, Mass., is charged with two counts of murder for the fatal January 2006 shootings of his wife, Rachel, 27, and 9-month-old daughter, Lillian Rose, The Boston Globe reported Thursday.

Defense lawyer Elliot Weinstein Wednesday pleaded for the fourth time with Judge Diane Kottmyer to change the case's venue or drop it after a woman said she overheard other potential jurors saying the judge should "send away" Entwistle so he can "fry."

"We have an impermissible, infected pool of jurors. We have not heard this from other jurors. Some number are not telling you the truth in response to your questions," Weinstein told the judge.

Kottmyer responded saying she did not agree "a lot of jurors are being dishonest."
