NEW DELHI, May 8 (UPI) -- A bus carrying 30 passengers skidded off a road and fell into the Chenab River in the Indian side of Kashmir Thursday, leaving at least 15 people dead.
Three other passengers were seriously injured, the Press Trust of India reported, quoting sources.

The bus was traveling from Kishtwar to Jammu, when the incident occurred. Police and army personnel in the area had recovered 15 bodies, while they searched to locate the other passengers, the report said.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
