MONTREAL, April 26 (UPI) -- Quebec police Saturday were trying to determine who scrawled the word 'traitor' on the tomb of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
A Canwest News Service report said the initials of the Front de Liberation du Quebec were also found on the wall of the mausoleum in St. Remi de Napierville.

Trudeau died in 2000.
While serving as prime minister in 1970, Trudeau invoked the War Measures Act, leading to the arrest of about 400 FLQ associates. The FLQ was blamed for the kidnapping of a British diplomat and the murder of Vice Premier Pierre LaPorte
