India: No caving to Taliban threats

NEW DELHI, April 12 (UPI) -- Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said Saturday his country would not give in to threats by Taliban militants in India or Afghanistan.

Following the deaths of two Indian construction workers in Afghanistan, Mukherjee said such actions by suspected Taliban militants would not stop India from protecting its citizens, the Press Trust of India reported.
