Medics check out airline passengers

HOUSTON, March 4 (UPI) -- Paramedics examined a group of airline passengers after their plane landed in Houston and some began complaining of headaches.

The Houston Chronicle reported that six passengers complained of headaches after Northwest Airlines Flight 1184 experienced mechanical problems. The flight originated in Detroit, the newspaper said.

"It was having pressurization problems in route," said Northwest Airlines spokesman Dean Breest. "There was no emergency declared."

Some passengers on the flight reportedly had nose bleeds.

"It was nothing serious," said Houston Fire Department Assistant Chief Jack Williams.
