10 killed in Indonesia concert stampede

JAKARTA, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- A rock concert stampede in Indonesia killed 10 teenagers and injured several others, police said Sunday.

When the punk band Bedside finished its concert Saturday night, fans rushed out of the Bandung venue while others were still entering the hall, China's Xinhua news agency reported.

"Ten youngsters died ... at least six others were injured," a police spokesman said.

More than 100 young fans were reportedly in the small venue, Xinhua said.
