Florida serial killer may murder again

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Officials say they suspect a well disguised serial killer will continue to hunt Daytona Beach, Fla., women until he is captured.

A Florida Department of Law Enforcement information release said the killer, who is believed to be an articulate and well-groomed individual, "will continue killing until caught," WKMG-TV, Orlando, Fla. reported Thursday.

Officials said the killings of four Daytona Beach area women, three of which happened in 2005 and one last month, were carried out in execution style by the same individual.

"The offender likely is not in control at a given time in a relationship, be it a girlfriend or wife. And, because he lacks that control and he goes out and strikes at innocent victims," Florida Department of Law Enforcement profiler Tom Davis said.

"The killer is one of us. He is our next-door neighbor. It is somebody who is a respectable, decent human being on the outside," Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood said.
