Four arrested for Indianapolis slayings

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Four men have been charged in connection with the slaying of two mothers and their two children in Indianapolis.

Dontae Hobson, 30, and Ronald Davis, 30, are charged with four counts of murder and Zarumin Coleman, 21, and Jasper Frazier, 35, are charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, The Indianapolis Star reported Sunday. Police said the suspects would be formally charged Tuesday.

Police announced the arrests Saturday evening, five days after Gina Hunt, 24, and her almost 2-year-old son Jordan, and Andrea Yarrell, 24, and her 4-month-old daughter Charlii were shot inside a house in the city's Near-Northside neighborhood.

The arrests followed an intensive manhunt involving 80 law enforcement officers, the newspaper said.

A police spokesman would not say what the motive may have been, or whether the investigators are pursuing other leads.
