ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, March 31 (UPI) -- Pakistan Saturday successfully tested its Hataf-II Abdali ballistic missile, which is believed capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.
A brief report from state-run PTV television said the test validated "desired technical parameters" of the surface-to-surface missile.

The two-stage Hataf-II Abdali has a range of 1,243 milers and can carry "all types of warheads," PTV said.
There was no immediate comment from Pakistan's neighbor, India.
