DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Two Pakistani security officials were killed and six others injured Saturday in a suicide bomb attack in the North West Frontier Province, GEO TV reported.

The attack on a convoy of security forces traveling from Dera Ismail Khan to Wazristan killed the bomber as well, police told Pakistan's GEO TV.

Officials also reported an apparent bombing attempt in Lakki Marwat. In that incident, the bomb exploded as it was being planted in the Ghaznikhel market, killing the suspected bomber and damaging nearby shops.

Authorities were trying to identify both bombers, the independent TV network reported.
