No letup in Gaza, West Bank fighting

GAZA, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Palestinian infighting continues in Gaza and the West Bank, with the toll of dead and wounded rising, a report says.

In the latest violence, six Hamas members were abducted early Friday, while shots were fired at the home of a Palestinian minister and at diplomatic missions in Ramallah, the Israeli network Arutz Sheva reports.

Thursday night an alleged Hamas terrorist was killed and eight others were wounded, including two children, when a roadside bomb exploded in Gaza, the network said.

Hours later a member of the al-Aqsa brigades, the armed wing of the Fatah party, was shot dead in northern Gaza, the report says.

Fatah has accused Hamas of executing its member after local residents reported seeing Hamas forces surround the man's home.
