Puerto Rico: World's oldest man dies

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- The world's oldest man, a citizen of Puerto Rico, has died at age 115, El Nuevo Dia newspaper reported.

Emiliano Mercado del Toro reportedly died quietly at his home in northern Puerto Rico of natural causes, relatives said.

Del Toro became the older person in the world last month following the death of 116-year-old Elizabeth Bolden, who lived in Tennessee.

Emma Faust Tillman, 114, of Hartford, Conn., is now believed to be the oldest person on record.
