LONDON, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Speculation that Britain's Prince William will marry Kate Middleton intensified Friday after she showed up for the prince's graduation from Sandhurst.
It was the first time William's girlfriend was seen at such a high profile public event that was also attended by Queen Elizabeth and other senior royals, The Daily Mail reports.
After graduation from Sandhurst, the future king of England is joining the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals like his brother, Prince Harry.
Besides the Queen and his girlfriend, William's graduation was attended by his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, his father, the Prince of Wales, and his stepmother, the Duchess of Cornwall.
As second in line to the throne, William will be head of the armed forces one day.
In his Blues and Royals regiment, he will be known as a Cornet and will train to be a troop commander in an armored reconnaissance unit.
