Bush to meet with Iraq Study Group

The meeting Monday will not be the presentation of the group's final report, Snow said.

Vice President Dick Cheney and national security adviser Stephen Hadley will join the president at his meeting. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte and CIA Director General Michael Hayden will have individual meetings with the group.

The Iraq Study Group, headed by former Secretary of State James Baker, has been directed to consider U.S. policy in Iraq and recommend changes in strategy.

One person who will not be included in the meetings is Robert Gates, a member of the group and Bush's designated nominee to replace Rumsfeld. Snow said that Gates plans to resign from the group.
