Man charged with dismembering father

BOSTON, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- A Boston man has been charged with killing his father, cutting up the body and dumping parts of it at a house where he had once worked as a handyman.

Ruthie Collins allegedly saw Brian Lee walk into her backyard Saturday and drop two plastic bags in the compost heap, the Boston Herald reported. When she opened one bag, she found the head of Edward Lee, the report said.

Police sources told the Herald that the father had been granted a restraining order against his son. Earlier Saturday, police tried to serve it.

One neighbor told the Herald that the younger Lee was "strange."

"He never talked," Cyril Aljon said.

Some neighbors saw Brian Lee driving his father's car on Friday, which struck them as odd since Edward spent much of his time washing the car, the report said.
