NEW DELHI, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh says Pakistan has not done enough to control terrorist groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The comment came ahead of Singh's expected meeting with Pakistan Pervez Musharraf this week in Cuba, where the two will attend the non-aligned countries' summit conference.
Singh hinted he might try to extract a commitment from Pakistan to not allowing its territory for launching terror attacks against India, reports the Press Trust of India.
Singh said both countries need to move forward on the dialogue process, but added terrorism acts as a "dampener" and that violence "vitiates" the atmosphere.
"We will have an exchange of views on all issues, particularly the commitment of Pakistan of not to allow its territory, and that includes parts of Jammu and Kashmir which is in their occupation, to mount terrorist attacks against India," he said.
Singh said Pakistan is also a victim of terrorism. "I would not like to use strong words, our worry has been that Pakistan government has not done enough to control these elements," he said.
