JERUSALEM, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- An Israeli minister says the country should prepare for missile attacks from Iran by building more bomb shelters.
"The Iranians have said very clearly that if they come under attack, their primary target would be Israel." Pensioner Affairs Minister Rafi Eitan told Israel Radio.
The warning came as Iran was due to give its reply on a package of incentives from the United Nations Security Council and Germany in exchange for ending its nuclear program, Ynetnews.com reported.
Iran has said it would not accept the main demand to suspend uranium enrichment.
If Iran rejects the package, sanctions and other steps could be taken against the country, which in turn could threaten Israel, YNet said.
