Anthony Rodham in loan dispute

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 27 (UPI) -- A brother of U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., has been barred from accessing his bank account in Virginia in a dispute over a loan, says a report.

Quoting federal bankruptcy court filings in Alexandria, The Washington Times reports a bankruptcy trustee has demanded Anthony D. Rodham first repay more than $100,000 in loans from a carnival company whose founder was pardoned by former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

The report says Rodham got the loan from United Shows of America Inc., which became bankrupt in 2002. Since then court-appointed trustee Michael E. Collins has sought to garnish Rodham's wages, the report said.

A consent order filed with the bankruptcy court now says Rodham is barred from taking money out of a bank account pending a hearing next month, the Times reported. Separately, Rodham's attorney has asked the bankruptcy court to quash a garnishment motion against his client.
