MADRID, July 18 (UPI) -- On the 70th anniversary of their civil war's start, nearly a third of Spaniards said they supported the military uprising led by Gen. Francisco Franco.
A poll in El Mundo published Tuesday reported 30 percent said the general's war on the left-wing Spanish government at the time was justified.
