High school football player sodomized

HOUSTON, April 29 (UPI) -- A 17-year-old party guest was attacked, sodomized with a pipe and left near death in a Harris County, Texas, backyard while the homeowner slept.

David Henry Tuck, 18, and Keith Robert Turner, 17, were both charged with aggravated sexual assault and jailed without bond, The Houston Chronicle reported.

The victim apparently had just met his alleged attackers on the night of the April 22 incident. They went to one boy's home, and some of those involved said they smoked marijuana and took Xanax.

A confrontation broke out when the victim was accused of trying to kiss the 12-year-old girl who lived there.

Tuck and others are accused of dragging the victim into the backyard and shoving a PVC pipe into his rectum, causing major internal injuries and organ damage. Tuck is accused of kicking the victim in the head and kicking the pipe after it had been shoved inside the boy.

The victim was naked and near death when the parent of the 16-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl was alerted the next morning and called 911.

"Everyone's pretty much amazed that he's still alive," said Lt. John Denholm of the Harris County sheriff's homicide division.
