Blair won't join House of Lords when done

LONDON, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- British Prime Minister Tony Blair said he won't join Parliament's House of Lords after his third term, even though he is entitled to an automatic seat.

The Independent reports Blair wants to get out of the political spotlight and said he will seek a reunion with former President Bill Clinton.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror Blair also warned his Labor Party members against ganging up on new conservative Tory Party leader David Cameron.

Cameron was recently elected leader and had promised to be more of a centrist conservative.

Blair said Cameron has shown a politically right tendency with two decisions on Europe and education, but Blair said the party should wait and see what he will do in the future.
