MOSCOW, July 29 (UPI) -- An ABC television interview with Chechen rebel leader Shamil Basayev has angered Russia which has put a $10 million reward on his head.
The Russian foreign ministry summoned a senior U.S. diplomat in Moscow to express its "strong indignation" over the show, the BBC reported.

In the interview, the warlord, who had claimed the 2004 raid on a school in Beslan in which 320 people died, admitted he was a terrorist. He also made a similar accusation against the Russians and warned of further Beslan-type attacks, the report said.
The interview with Shamil Basayev -- recorded at his hideout in Chechnya -- was aired on ABC's "Nightline" Thursday.
