Nancy Reagan falls in London hotel room

LONDON, June 16 (UPI) -- Nancy Reagan, widow of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, fell in her hotel room in central London Thursday and was examined at a hospital.

Reagan, 83, slipped and took a tumble in her room at the Ritz, where she is staying while vacationing in London.

"After a full examination she was released and returned to the hotel," a spokeswoman told the Scotsman. "She will be following her doctor's advice to limit her activities over the next two weeks until the pain subsides and full mobility returns."

It's believed Reagan had tea with former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and met with Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
