Cosby facing civil suit in sex case

PHILADELPHIA, April 21 (UPI) -- Comedian Bill Cosby is facing allegations of sexual improprieties in a civil suit by a Philadelphia woman whose criminal complaint against him was denied.

Andrea Constand, a former employee of Temple University's athletic department, had accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her last year at his Philadelphia-area mansion, Celebrity Justice reported Thursday.

Local prosecutors considered her claims but decided not to prosecute Cosby.

Then another woman, Tamara Green, said Cosby had groped her 30 years ago.

Since then Constand has filed a civil suit against Cosby, and court papers show at least nine other women are listed as potential witnesses in her lawsuit.
