GAZA, April 18 (UPI) -- James Wolfensohn, the new Quartet committee's representative assigned to coordinate Israel's withdrawal from Gaza will visit the area next week.
Unidentified sources said Wolfensohn will mainly focus on issues of economic and social development in the Palestinian territories.

A member in the Palestinian Liberation Organization's executive committee, Yasser Abed Rabbo, said Wolfensohn's role is not completely clear.
Abed Rabbo told Palestinian radio, "We hope that Wolfensohn will have practical competences that include all the Palestinian society and land and not to divide these lands into cantons."
