LONDON, April 10 (UPI) -- British police said a 15-year-old girl died Sunday after being stabbed at a London party, the BBC reported.
Police went to the house after being flagged down by pedestrians. They found a girl, whose name has not been released, was suffering from stab wounds. She was later pronounced dead in a hospital.
Police had one 17-year-old girl in custody at an east London police station Sunday.
Detective Chief Inspector John Macdonald, said: "There are a number of people who were at the party, who have not yet come forward, please can they make themselves known to police.
"Also, if parents know or suspect that their son or daughter was at the party in Saxon Road, can they ensure that they contact police on their child's behalf."
