Rapper Krayzie Bone could face jail time

HAMILTON, Ohio, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- The rapper Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is subject to an Ohio arrest warrant for skipping a hearing on his failure to pay child support.

Anthony Henderson, aka Krayzie Bone, shelled out $40,000 in unpaid child support, the Hamilton Journal-News reported Friday. Despite the large payment, however, a warrant was issued for his arrest Wednesday because he skipped a scheduled plea hearing in Butler County Common Pleas Court.

The 31-year-old Grammy award-winning artist could face up to 18 months in prison for his failure to attend the hearing, which is a felony offense.

Henderson put the money into an escrow account to be paid to the mother of his child, who lives in the Mason, Ohio, area. He had contested the child's paternity, but tests confirmed he was the father, and the money was released to the child's mother.

He put up the money after being indicted this August on two counts of felony non-support of dependents.
