Gooden's daughter and the other girls apparently screamed racial slurs at each other before the altercation.

During the fight, the bus driver pulled over and Gooden reportedly entered the bus and grabbed the 13-year-old girl by the throat, the report said.

"Apparently she made a statement several times while she was choking her that she would kill her," a sheriff's spokeswoman said.

Gooden allegedly also struck the girl several times. The victim was taken to a hospital but her condition was not known.

The woman's daughter and another 12-year-old were also arrested and faced battery charges.
