BEIJING, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- A farmer from central China has been executed for heading a baby trafficking organization that sold baby girls.
The Australian Broadcasting Corp. reports that authorities began an investigation in 2003 after 28 babies were discovered on a bus, hidden in bags with their arms and legs tied.

Authorities say that Li Guoju's ring sold more than 200 infants. The babies were bought from hospital employees and smugglers.
