BOURNEMOUTH, England, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- One person was killed and two were badly burnt when their small plane crashed close to Bournemouth Airport Saturday in Britain.
The plane burst into flames after it came down in a hedge when attempting to land, the BBC reported.
The two burn victims were airlifted to Salisbury Hospital's burns unit where they were being treated in intensive care.
It was thought Saturday the plane hit trouble shortly after take off and was returning to land when it crashed.
The Civil Aviation Agency and the Air Accident Investigation Board have been informed.
