15 people killed in Iran road accident

TEHRAN, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Iranian police said Wednesday 15 people were killed and 20 others injured in a road accident in the province of Zahdan in eastern Iran.

The Iranian News Agency, IRNA, said a bus collided with a truck Tuesday night on the highway leading to Zahdan city, killing 15 bus passengers and injuring 20 others.

Police said the truck skidded before slamming into the bus.
