GIRARDOT, Colombia, June 5 (UPI) -- Police in Colombia said Saturday a woman, who allegedly removed an eight-month-old fetus from another woman with a kitchen knife, has been arrested.
The BBC reported the baby -- found with the arrested woman -- has been re-united with its mother. The mother said the arrested woman drugged her and led her to a house where the baby was removed.

The mother said she was bleeding heavily and left for dead in the town of Girardot.
"When I felt my belly, it was empty," Angela Cartagena said. "And the baby was crying and crying."
The mother said she remembers her kidnapper had left with her baby wrapped in cloth.
Police believe the arrested woman may not have been working alone.
