LONDON, May 25 (UPI) -- A week after Britain's Prime Minister Tony Blair became the target of condoms full of purple flour, the House of Commons is to hear a security update.
The BBC said House of Commons Speaker Michael Martin is expected to update MPs Wednesday on a review of House of Commons security measurers.
The security report could involve a recommendation for increased security restrictions on access to Westminster and federal government buildings.
Last week, Blair had been speaking during his weekly half-hour question-and-answer period when one of the flour-filled projectiles hit his back, prompting an evacuation of the building.
Responsibility for the attack was claimed by members of a group called Fathers 4 Justice, who had been given House of Commons gallery passes by a member of the House of Lords. Fathers 4 Justice is a new British civil rights movement that campaigns for a child's right to see both parents and grandparents.
