NEW YORK, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt claims to have photographs of former POW Jessica Lynch topless, a newspaper reported Tuesday.

Flynt made the revelation Monday, the day before Veterans Day, and the same day Lynch received accolades from Glamour magazine as one of its Women of the Year.

Flynt said he plans to run the photos in January of Lynch cavorting topless with two men she was stationed with at Fort Bliss, Texas, before she was shipped to Iraq.

Flynt said Hustler consulted an outside "photo enhancement lab" to establish the woman in the photos was Lynch.

"You think I'm going to publish nude pics that aren't her?" he said.

A spokesman for the 20-year-old Army private called the plan "unspeakable."

"Leave it to Larry Flynt to do something like this," said Paul Bogaards of Alfred Knopf, publisher of "I Am A Soldier, Too: The Jessica Lynch Story," which was released Tuesday.

Flynt said the pictures were obtained from two former soldiers who served with Lynch, and would prove "she's not Joan of Arc," the New York Daily News reported.

Reports Tuesday, however, said Flynt had reconsidered and would not publish the pictures.
