Top White House anti-terror boss resigns

WASHINGTON, March 19 (UPI) -- The top National Security Committee official in the war on terror resigned Tuesday, an NSC spokesman told United Press International Wednesday. The spokesman said Rand Beers resigned for personal reasons, but several intelligence sources said the move reflected widespread concern that the impending war is hurting the fight against terrorism.
