Dense fog blamed for massive car pileup

HOUSTON, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Heavy, dense fog caused about 75 cars to pile up early Saturday on both sides of the Sam Houston Tollway, severely burning 9 cars, officials said. There were no deaths, but more than 20 people were taken to hospitals, five of them with serious injuries.
