Forecaster predicts busy hurricane year

FORT COLLINS, Colo., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Long-range hurricane forecaster William Gray of Colorado State University predicted Thursday there would be twice as many hurricanes in 2003 as there were last hurricane season. Gray also said there will be 12 named storms from June 1 through Nov. 30 next year.
