Two men arrested in sniper investigation

WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Police arrested two men they had been seeking in connection with the Washington area serial sniper investigation, authorities said early Thursday. WUSA-TV in Washington reported John Allen Muhammad and John Lee Malvo were apprehended while they were sleeping in a car at a rest stop. A federal arrest warrant was issued late Wednesday for Muhammad on firearms violations.
